This year we went to the Lough Allen Centre for our school tour. We had a great day as you can see from the pictures. We made a fire, built shelter and even roasted some marshmallows.

Over the past few weeks our caterpillars have formed their chrysalis and transformed into butterflies. We discovered the butterflies really like to eat strawberries and oranges. We released our butterflies on Friday.

We have visitors to our classroom this week – caterpillars. We are so excited to watch them grow and turn into butterflies. We will keep you updated.

We have been learning about space and the planets. We decided to make clay monsters to go with this theme. We got very messy making them but really enjoyed it.

We were learning about ‘The Rainforest’ with Ms. Moran. We wrote reports about different animals you would find in the Amazon rainforest as Gaeilge. We really enjoyed learning about the different animals. .

Our art is so scary it would make you ‘Scream’.
