We had a great chat with All Ireland Lady Winners, Michelle Monaghan and Lauryn McKeon when they came to visit with the Mary Quinn cup and with past pupil that were part of the Fr. Fanning winning team also.
We had great fun playing Hockey for PE in September and we enjoyed the mini-sided games we played.
We have been learning how to play chess the last few weeks. So far we have mastered the pawn, the rook and the Knight. We are looking forward to becoming chess masters!
For maths week, we had great fun working in pairs tesselating shapes and making patterns!
This month our theme is our Locality. Mrs Walsh took us on a history walk and talk of the town of Drumshanbo. We learned so much and had a great time!
