We had a wonderful day in Gaelscoil Liatroma taking part in the Ficheall Chess Tourament. We played six rounds of chess with students from five different schools. We had great fun learning from the games, from other schools and from each other. A big thank you to Mrs. Flynn for helping us to learn chess in school and for coming with us on the day!
We really enjoyed learning about static electricity and creating some static electricity for experiments!!
We are back to football training on the yard each week with Luke. We have been working on our ball handling skills and team playing skills.
For the past 8 weeks we have been training hard each week in preparation for our Couch to 5km run. We have made huge progress in our running ability and we are looking forward to the final run!
