The Aistear theme this month was the Doctor’s Surgery. We learned lots of vocabulary such as stethoscope, injection, receptionist, and surgery. The highlight of our month was a visit to our lovely neighbours in the actual Doctor’s Surgery. We were met by the fabulous receptionists and then Dr. Loftus and nurse Michelle came out of their busy offices to have a chat with us.
We also worked on ‘Our Locality’ and this involved our trip to the Doctor’s Surgery and we went for a walk around town and talked about the different buildings and houses in our locality. For art we drew different buildings in our locality. Finally, we read The Three Little Pigs and made a house of straw, a house of wood and a house of brick in creative art.
Have a look of our photos.
